Design and operating characteristics
The transformer uses a reinforced core-and-coil structure designed to maintain mechanical stability during transportation and fault conditions. High- and low-voltage windings can incorporate longitudinal oil ducts to improve oil circulation, reduce the temperature difference between the winding conductor and transformer oil, and control winding hot-spot temperature.
The product can be configured with conservator tanks, external radiators, protection devices and tap-changing equipment according to system voltage, rated capacity and site requirements.
