Boreviax renewable energy dry-type transformers are developed for photovoltaic, wind power and energy-storage projects. They are commonly used to step up low-voltage power generated by renewable energy equipment to medium-voltage levels such as 10kV or 35kV for grid connection and power transmission.
The electrical and mechanical structure can be adapted to the operating characteristics of renewable energy systems, including variable loading, harmonic currents, frequent power fluctuations and demanding outdoor environments. Structural and thermal simulation methods may be used during product design to improve temperature distribution, mechanical stability and service reliability.
